Bianca Janine Pettis is an interdisciplinary artist, producer, and educator working across sound, video, performance, visual art, and AI-assisted media. Her current practice explores grief, caregiving, memory, and transformation through forms that move between personal narrative, experimental media, and collaborative worldbuilding.

Over the past two decades, Pettis has developed projects spanning live performance, public art, sound design, video, workshops, and community-based creative engagement.

As co-founder of the experimental duo Beatrix*Jar, she led hundreds of workshops and performances across the United States, building a practice grounded in experimentation, participation, and the translation of lived experience into shared artistic form.

Her current work extends this practice through projects such as Bee Wilde and Echo City TV, where music, moving image, comics, and AI-assisted processes become tools for exploring medicine, myth, memory, and emotional change.

Pettis approaches art making as a way of transforming instability into meaning — creating works that hold tenderness, strangeness, and reinvention in the same frame.
